Fabulous place! The Standard Double or Twin Room with Garden View was a lovely escape, decorated in a charming, eclectic style. I loved the seating area with comfy chairs by the window, offering serene views of the beautifully maintained garden. Enjoying breakfast in the garden, especially with the best eggs in town and fresh orange juice, was a real treat. However, not having a sink in the toilet was a bit inconvenient. We had to go to the kitchen to wash our hands. Despite this, the overall experience was delightful, with easy access to local attractions and the canal path for leisurely walks. The location is just 20 minutes from Utrecht by bus, making it better than staying in the city center. Can't wait to return!

The garden view from our room was lovely, and while
the character-filled decor was interesting and gave the place a unique style, we found the lack of air conditioning to be a bit uncomfortable on hot days. Overall, the friendly staff and beautiful countryside location made it worth the stay.

Lovely antique decor creating a charming ambiance.
Our room was extremely hot without any air conditioning, making it uncomfortable to sleep. Opening the windows felt risky as they only opened from the bottom, leaving us vulnerable. Additionally, the noise from the nearby restaurant frequently disrupted our peace, which was quite frustrating during our stay.

Perfect for a peaceful escape
The breakfast was out of this world! Fresh fruit, crunchy croissants, and eggs made just right, all served as we looked out at the water and the house chickens were walking around! The personal service from the hostess was genuine, like we were part of the family.
It wasn’t inexpensive but still reasonable for the experience we got.

We had an amazing time with friends! The peaceful garden was perfect for relaxation, and the breakfast spread was truly delicious. We explored nearby castles and enjoyed local dining options. The staff made us feel at home, creating a vibe that you just can't find in typical hotels.
It was a bit warm without air conditioning during our stay, which made sleeping challenging at times. Just be prepared for that!

The location by the picturesque canal provided a serene atmosphere, and I particularly enjoyed the charming garden where breakfast was served, featuring the best eggs in town and fresh orange juice. The unique decor added character, but heat was uncomfortable without air conditioning. Additionally, mosquitoes were an issue during the warm nights, making it hard to sleep well. Having to venture outside for our meals added a bit of inconvenience.
